I spent a lot of time in the garage the last couple of days, but haven’t removed the master cylinder yet. Today I did additional prep work on the electrical line coming into the garage. I really, really need to get the power running in the garage, so this was a big step to making that happen. Once I get the line in and the breaker panel mounted, I’ll buy the MC cable, the outlets and assorted hardware. Then I can mount the outlet boxes and get to running the wiring.
The vise is mounted and ready to rock. The first thing I’m going to use the vice for is to hold the conduit so I can make the needed cuts. Tomorrow I need to buy some PVC cement while I’m out. If I time it right, I think I can get the line run to the breaker box and mount a quad box for temporary power (for now).
I haven’t tried a flare nut wrench on the brake line at the master cylinder, but should. I’ve seen some guys on YouTube have to heat that fitting up to get it broken loose.
